Horizon Zero Dawn was set in Northern Arizona – predominantly in Colorado and Utah – as well as parts of Montana in the United States, whereas the sequel Horizon Forbidden West is set in the south-western region of the United States, in parts of Nevada and central California up to the Pacific Coast. Whilst the PlayStation 4 version is locked to 30 FPS, unlike the PlayStation 5 version which supports 60 FPS, meaning Sony's latest console is now the most optimal choice if players want to have the best experience possible. The DLC isn't the only exclusive thing about Horizon Forbidden West, as it already came included with several features available only for PlayStation 5 users, such as: adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, performance and resolution modes, decreased load times and increased draw distance.
